Tiziri (ⵜⵉⵣⵉⵔⵉ) is the Tamazight word for moonlight. It is the light you see the Sahara by after dinner, when the fire is low and the dunes turn silver. It is also, for us, the whole point of going: the hours nobody puts on an itinerary.
We chose it because the desert at night is the moment guests remember, and because the language is ours.
Most desert tours from Marrakech are the same product resold by different websites: a minibus, a fixed timetable, a camp chosen by price, and a driver you meet at seven in the morning and never see again. It works, and we still run a version of it for travellers who want the lowest price.
But we kept meeting people who had saved for years to see the Sahara and got a rushed sunset and a cold tent. Morocco Tiziri exists for them: the same road, done properly, with people who know it.
We are a licensed Moroccan tour operator, not a reseller. The driver-guide who picks you up works with us, the 4×4 belongs to us, and the riad and the camp are places we have slept in and go back to. When something changes on the road, the person who answers your WhatsApp is the person who can fix it.

Every operator promises a perfect trip. We would rather tell you what happens when it is not, because that is when you find out who you booked with.
Our vehicles are ours and serviced on a schedule, but roads are roads. If a 4×4 stops, a replacement leaves Marrakech or the nearest base immediately. You never pay for lost time, and if a night is lost, we refund it.
Tell your driver or your planner that evening, not after the trip. We move you the same night when we can, and refund the difference when we cannot. Named stays are named so you can hold us to them.
Your driver knows the nearest clinic on every route and stays with you. We help with pharmacies, a doctor, your insurer, and a re-plan of the days you miss. Nobody is left in a camp to “rest”.
Snow on the Tichka or a sandstorm at Merzouga happens a few days a year. We re-route (Agafay, the Draa, an extra night in the Dades) or refund the affected night. You decide, not us.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before departure, full deposit refund. Between 7 days and 48 hours the deposit becomes credit for a later date. Under 48 hours it is not refunded; we say so before you pay.
You will. One WhatsApp number answered every day from 8:00 to 22:00 by someone who knows your file, and the driver's own number in your pocket for the rest. If we ever miss a message for more than a few hours, tell us; it should not happen.
