Fes is the city most travellers pair with Marrakech, and the desert is the best way to get between them. Our one-way tours cross the Atlas, the Dades and Todra gorges and the dunes of Merzouga in three days and drop you at your riad in the other city — no train, no driving back over the same road. From the Fes side, the route runs south through Ifrane, the cedar forests of Azrou (Barbary macaques on the roadside), Midelt and the Ziz Valley palm groves before the dunes appear. Fes itself needs at least a full day: the medina of Fes el-Bali is the largest car-free urban area in the world, and the tanneries, the Bou Inania madrasa and the Kairaouine mosque are the things to see. We do not run city tours in Fes; we pick you up from any riad or hotel and hand you over to it at the end.

Day three from Merzouga is long: about 7–8 hours of driving with stops at the Ziz Valley viewpoint, Midelt (lunch) and the cedars of Azrou. You reach Fes around 18:00–19:00 and we drop you at your accommodation. Plan your medina day for the day after.
Pick-up at 07:00 (shared) or your chosen time (private) from any address within 8 km of Bab Boujloud; outside that, a meeting point [placeholder]. Day one ends at the Merzouga camp, about 8 hours later.
Fes riads are inside the medina, often unreachable by car: your driver meets you at the nearest gate or parking, usually Bab Boujloud, Bab R'cif or Bab Guissa. Tell us the riad name and we know where.
