Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you book a journey with Morocco Tiziri. Please read them before confirming your trip.
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the booking and provision of tours and travel services by Morocco Tiziri (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Marrakech, Morocco. By booking a trip with us, you (“you”, the “client”) confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings & confirmation
A booking is requested when you send us your trip details and is confirmed only once we have issued a written confirmation and received your deposit. The lead traveller must be at least 18 years old and books on behalf of everyone in the party.
2. Prices
Prices are quoted per person or per group as stated in your proposal and are based on the services, dates and party size agreed. Quotes are valid for the period stated and may change until your booking is confirmed. Unless expressly stated, prices exclude international flights, travel insurance, visa fees, personal expenses and gratuities.
3. Deposits & payment
A deposit (typically 25% of the trip price, or as stated in your proposal) is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due no later than the date shown on your confirmation, usually 30 days before departure. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is due at the time of booking. Late payment may be treated as a cancellation by you.
4. Changes by you
If you wish to change a confirmed booking, we will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee it. Changes may incur additional costs charged by our suppliers, plus a reasonable administration fee. Significant changes may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing by the lead traveller. As we commit to riads, camps, guides and transport on your behalf, the following charges typically apply from the date we receive your notice:
- More than 45 days before departure: loss of deposit
- 30–45 days: 50% of the trip price
- 15–29 days: 75% of the trip price
- Fewer than 15 days: 100% of the trip price
Exact terms are confirmed with your booking. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation.
6. Changes or cancellation by us
We plan every trip carefully, but occasionally we may need to make changes. Minor changes will be advised as soon as possible. If we must make a significant change or cancel your trip for reasons within our control, we will offer you a comparable alternative or a refund of monies paid to us for the affected services. We are not liable for costs you incur independently (such as flights) — another reason insurance is essential.
7. Travel insurance
Adequate travel insurance is a condition of travelling with us. Your policy should cover cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation, personal accident and belongings for the full duration and nature of your trip, including any adventurous activities.
8. Passports, visas & health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, any required visas, and meeting the health and entry requirements for Morocco and any country you transit. We are happy to offer general guidance, but requirements are your responsibility and we accept no liability for refused entry.
9. Your responsibilities
You agree to behave respectfully towards local people, culture and the environment, and to follow the reasonable instructions of your guide, particularly regarding safety. We may decline to carry, or remove from a trip, anyone whose behaviour endangers others or seriously disrupts the trip, without refund.
10. Our liability
We act as an organiser of the services described in your itinerary and take reasonable care in selecting our suppliers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, injury, delay or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, from your own acts or omissions, or from the acts of third parties not connected with the provision of your trip. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, war, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, border closures or government action.
12. Complaints
If something is not right during your trip, please tell your guide immediately so we can try to resolve it on the spot. If a matter cannot be resolved locally, please contact us in writing within 28 days of your return and we will respond promptly.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Marrakech, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
