What it is
Same dunes, same sunset, same drums by the fire — with a private bathroom behind a canvas wall, a proper mattress, bedside lamps and, in most tents, a small terrace facing the sand. Dinner is served in a lounge tent or, on calm nights, outside. It is the camp we include on private tours and the one to choose on a shared tour if you travel with young children, prefer not to cross the sand at night, or simply want the desert with comfort.

To be honest
- "Luxury" here means a private bathroom, a good bed and attentive staff — not a hotel in the sand. Water is heated by solar or gas and is not unlimited; nights in winter are still cold outside the blankets; there is no Wi-Fi. Electricity runs in the evening and morning.

- Showers: short and warm, not long and hot — the water is carried in.
- Sunrise is from the dune behind the camp; staff wake you if you ask.
