Pick-up at your riad or hotel at the time you choose: 07:00, 08:00 or 09:00 (07:00 or 08:00 recommended). Through Berber villages, almond and walnut groves to the Tizi n'Tichka pass, stopping wherever you like. Aït Ben Haddou with a local guide: the riverbed, the alleys and the granary at the top. Lunch in Ouarzazate, then over the Tizi n'Tinifift pass into the Draa Valley at Agdz: date palms, Jbel Kissane and the kasbah of Tamnougalt. In Zagora in the late afternoon, a camel ride of about an hour into the desert as the sun sets. Mint tea at the camp, a tagine for dinner and drums around the fire.
Camel ride at sunrise, then breakfast at the camp. Back up the Draa Valley in the morning light to Ouarzazate: the Taourirt kasbah and its painted cedar ceilings, and the Atlas Film Studios if you wish. Lunch, then the High Atlas back to Marrakech, with drop-off at your riad or hotel around 17:00 to 18:00.
