A glimpse of the journey
About this tour in detail
Transform your journey from Marrakech to Agadir into a private three-day adventure across the High Atlas Mountains and the Moroccan Sahara. Instead of traveling directly between the two cities, discover historic kasbahs, dramatic valleys, desert communities and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Begin by crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to Ait Ben Haddou, then continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley. Spend the first night at Riad Dar Rihana Dades.
On the second day, admire the Tinghir oasis and walk through the towering cliffs of Todra Gorge. Continue to Merzouga, where you will ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes around sunset. Enjoy dinner, traditional music and an overnight stay in a private tent at Merzouga Luxury Camp.
After sunrise and an early breakfast, leave the Sahara for the long journey west to Agadir. Travel through Rissani, Alnif, Nkob, the Draa region, Tazenakht, Taliouine and Taroudant before reaching Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
Your private vehicle is reserved exclusively for your group, offering greater comfort and flexibility. However, this is an intensive three-day itinerary. The final journey from Merzouga to Agadir is approximately 650 kilometres and requires a very early departure, with limited sightseeing time on the last day.
